For those who dont know, AKWD is the illest, multicultural group of snowskaters there is. They thrive off of wet shoes, walking forever, and using axes to destroy enemies and ice. It is a true snowskate alliance, a fellowship.
I was introduced to the AKWD homies two winters ago when Josh came down to Barrie for a snowskate adventure. Last year I came to Montreal to skate with Josh and Roby. It was the best, most fun time I've ever had snowskating. These guys are the hardest of hardcore, battling the super freeze that is Montreal winters. Waking up early, snowskating all day and all night. That's what this movies all about. FUN. So go out and have some.

AKWD aka A World Known Domination is proud to present you the teaser of thier last project; Axe/Sword.
Axe/Sword is a journey to the center or the snowskate world, also known as fun, friendship and happiness.
Featuring musical classics such as Ninja High School and french rap superstar Maybe Watson, this year's edit is simply outstanding; the landing to clip ratio is higher than ever, thanks to the GTA punks; Braden Ioi and Evan Ciniello who joined the AKWD support staff with stylish and technical maneuvers.
The OG; Dumb, Josh and Rabot (cause yeah, Dav was just to busy to throw down some tre's) skill level will cause serious damage to your eyes, make sure you wear all the necessary equipment before viewing this piece.
Also, big news this year; Toronto-based rider/art master Jamie Cybulski is now part of the official line-up, we simply couldn't get over how amazing and laid back the dude is so we decided to hook him up; i'm pretty sure his new part will blow your mind.
To be honest, I didn't go too artsy with the edit this year, simply went for the: let's have a feel-good, chill edit this year, I hope you guys will be pleased.

Zack Alworden's 2010/2011 Footage
What's up fellow snowskaters? I hope you're all as stoked as I am for the upcoming season! I know it's going to be an insane one. Hopefully this edit I threw together can help you all get hyped. This is my footage from the past season that I acquired. I hurt my ankle in the first week of December so I didn't get as much footage as I wanted nor did I get as many flip tricks as I hoped. Still, I tried to make the best of it and I'm pretty satisfied on what I got out of the season. I ended up getting surgery on my ankle in April and I'm pretty much fully recovered now and fully stoked for the snow to fall. So, check the edit fools.
