Shot of the Week #27

December 21, 2010 by Alex Blais

Taras Ryabokon just received his stack of Ambition Snowskates and has been shredding them lately. His kickflip down a 9 stair from his first session of the year on a wood is our pick for Shot of the Week 27.

Product Availability and Shipping

December 15, 2010 by Alex Blais

What's up guys. So here's a well deserved update on stock availability, shipping status, etc.

First off, we are bumping everyone's shipping option to express for no additional cost until December 22nd to accommodate all of you last minute buyers. We've been doing so with orders coming in since the 9th, and all packages that were on hold because of items that were in pre-order. Express shipping is not only faster, but it gives you a guaranteed delivery date when checking the tracking number hence we are able to make sure your presents get there in time for Christmas. Standards are of 2-3 business days for United States, and 1-3 business days in Canada. Allow a day or two for us to prepare your order and get it picked up. Once your package leaves you will receive your tracking number by e-mail.

We have a ton of team boards in stock right now and they are shipping daily. As for the signature pre-orders, we are working very hard to get them shipped on Monday so that they get delivered in time for Christmas. There is no guarantee, but things are looking good and we are working very hard to make it happen.

X-treme grips have just came in and we're getting even more in the next days. We're progressively shipping orders that contained a pack throughout the week, in express as noted above. We will get more in stock after chrismas, but we don't have a fixed date yet.

Thanks to everyone for your great support. If you have any further questions you can always contact us with any questions.

Happy holidays!

Smagical Adventure Number Three

Salutations Snowskaters,

Its getting to be that time for many of us, snow time. I hope all of you guys have at least a skate-able inch or two on the ground by now and have had the chance to slide around on your snow-sliding device of choice (hopefully that device is an Ambition Snowskate). The days are now shorter and colder, which for the average person is not good news, but for us it is great. Daylight is simply details when it comes to snowskating. Fire up those flood lights and enjoy the dry, crisp snow when its at its best, at night. Tripod up that cam or grab some friends to session with and film the session. You may not film an entire banger-filled part in that one session, but one thing you will film is memories.

After your done skating and filming, throw the shoes on the boot dryer, plug in that firewire and make an edit. After all, you don't need daylight to edit videos either. For me, winter is a chance to catch up on long delayed editing time from the summer months. I have been making action sports DVDs for a few years now, and this year will be my 3rd installment. While the films do cover my summer events with all the motorcycle stuff, there is also a big chunk of snowskate craziness scattered throughout. Some of the stuff you will have seen in True Color and some in Snowsk8_Aliens. But there will also be some unreleased stuff from the Ambition Team Trips and my winter-long travels with one of my best-good snowskate pals, Alan Gerlach. So if you've got a minute while that footage imports and your shoes are drying, take a quick glance at the teaser for my newest creation, "SA3: Smagical Acres". I hope your winter is full of cold, short days, and long snow-filled nights. Stack that footy!
