Big Bill SB Winter 09-10 Ambition Collab
Hey guys! This is COSD writing again and as promised I am once again dropping a little something for y'all, and this time it's a project I've been working on for the last 2 weeks of the season, riding and representing for my new sponsor (http://www.bigbillsb.com) with my main man Chuck Dion (my lil brother from a different mother), and even though we couldnt squeeze too many sessions because of the shitty conditions, we still manages to get a few tricks on tape and the result turned out far better than I expected.
This being said, pretty much all of this was shot with my sony HDR-XR100 (in fact all of the daytime footy), but the rest was shot using my HV20, and as you may or may not know I now have a 35mm adapter so I included a few artsy shots I filmed with it too. Concerning editing, I used vegas 9 as I've been using all season, but the main difference here is that I had a legit computer to edit with, because otherwise I'm not even sure I could've rendered the final product and I would've been stuck with a vegas savefile waiting for a miracle to happen.
Anyways that pretty much sums it all up, but just to let you know I will soon start working on different projects, and even if some are not related to snowskating (I still need to edit a whole bunch of my Vancouver DTES documentary footage and also a whole bunch of lifestyle footy), I will still release short edits here and there, spread out throughout the rest of my videos, and soon enough my youtube channel will have a total of 100 videos!!!
Before I let you guys watch this in silence and get stoked on snowskating again even if odds are you have no more snow (haha sorry that was kind of a stupid remark to make), I want to take 2 minutes to tell you about my little buddy Chuck (Charles Dion) because as you will see, that kid is frickin steezy from head to toes and even if he just started snowskating a year ago or so, just this season alone he's done some incredible progress and he has an impressively similar style to mine, he's also a perfectionnist when it comes to landing his tricks clean, he works super hard to build setups and has been the greatest assistant I could've wished for, and most importantly he has a really good attitude towards the sport and he's already ripping at 13... No need to say that meeting him and riding with him at a few occasions this year was like a breath of fresh air for me because I've snowskated alone most of last season and pretty much 75% of this one too, but having a little buddy by my side that ripped and pushed me to prove my skills sort of was very positive and I know the kid will make it far if he keeps riding like he did this season. That pretty much sums up what I had to say about my steeze brother (haha you will notice we sort of have the same steeze on certain tricks except he has way better kickflips than me...), but keep looking for updates because I will soon release a Chuck N Chuck special edit and you can be sure there is way more tricks in there than in this edit (the focus for the BBSB thing was mostly to promote the company and to boost the brand image by rocking the apparel and capturing it on tape)

kk at 31 seconds that was sick, like the editing, colours, and the board flip, just great. And was that a custom ambition board at 48 seconds? all in all that was a pretty fresh promo
