Casualties Bootcamp 2009
On February 21st, Casualties Skate, Snow and Surf of Marquette, MI held its annual snowboard bootcamp. One of the most unique parts of the camp is it's snowskate park. For 4 years now, Eric Schleicher and a crew of helpers have been setting up the park to teach people as young as age 6 how to snowskate. This year's set up included a ride on box, ollie on box, a big kicker and flat-down rail. Kids filled the park up all day long learning everything from riding down the hill to kickflips and how to ollie onto a box. It was a lot of fun and we are looking forward to doing it again next year. Special thanks to Casualties, Shane, Jordan, Joe, Zack and Neil for helping teach and set-up the park.
