Screen Printing

So this past semester I took a screen printing class at The University of Vermont. I feel like learning such a skill was great in terms of being able to manipulate your own image onto anything; paper, t-shirts, glass, wood. The printing process is sometimes long with only one screen, but if you take your time you can make some really cool stuff. Here is one of my earlier images that I did. It has two layers on it, and I put the little snowskater in as a nice touch. I hope you enjoy them and I have tons of extra prints if anyone wants any!

As the year progressed we started adding more layers of colors, and we had the choice of making any image we wanted. This one is four prints combined to form mess of lines and colors yet I feel that it works.

This last one is 23 prints combined to form what I call an eye. I again used 4 colors and the idea around this project was repetition. I feel that I truly progressed throughout this year and I am ready to take on any design you guys wanna throw my way. So enjoy this one!

I hope you guys enjoy this and hopefully I can keep up with this through out the coming year. Maybe even get a few snowskate pictures up!

Thanks

Alex

those look good! I think with the ambition one though, you should keep the "ion" clean instead of sloppy, but still, wayyyyyy better than what I can do
