Winter Urban Plagne 2008

La Plagne, the world's largest ski resort, has now taken it's Urban Plagne summer event to the snow. The Winter Urban Plagne, taking place in France, uses a very different but interesting competition concept.

Teams of 4 professional ski/snowboarders, a filmer/photographer and a guide will battle it out in a bunch of challenges for a 15 000$ cash purse. The contest lasts three days and each group has to complete every challenge in the best possible way. These challenges include big-air best trick, highest wall ride, best 10 rails line, biggest bomb drop, most technical trick... and even snowskating!

Ambition is proud to sponsor the first ever Winter Urban Plagne. A closed park, only accessible to snowskaters, will be opened for the entire lenght of the happening. Not only will the park be free of entrance, but 10 Ambition Snowskates will also be available for demo.

Other attractions such as an amateur montage video contest, rock concerts, video games, graffiti battles and freestyle hip-hop demos are sure to make this event one of a kind.
