I didn't really ride with the big pack of people so I guess that's why I'm not in many vids, I stayed in the back and threw lots of speed checks..

Yeah, 5$ entry fee, all of the money went into the podium. Sponsored by black velvet slide pucks, sundae skates, and phat deanz.

Few shots from the day:

Nah it was offers I got, I went with the neversummer.

Now I'm going to buy some O-Tangs from Maxim Garant (you might have skated with him he went on a trip to the west coast last summer) and some Venom bushings, then it will be all downhill from there.

oh right on, drop thru or topmount soldier? It's rediculous how well made those boards are.

I may have skated with him.. Can't remember, if you haven't already bought them, see if you can't find a set of divine 70mm 78/82a wheels. Soooo boss. Or wait for the new venom cannibal wheels ;) not officially out yet, but i'll be racing on them on sunday and they are SICK.

Drop thru, but I think he sold them all this week... My boss should pay me faster . I was also thinking about the venom sidewinders or abec11 freerides, how is the lip of the cannibal?

Oh and which bushings would you suggest for freeride/mild DH (like 60-70km/h). I'm 180-190 pounds.

Edit: Not posting for a while I want to keep this postcount.

I have a little question for you guys.

I recently changed my bearing on my sector 9 longboard. I bought Redz bearing because I knew it was good quality for a decent price. Now I am wondering if the sector 9 abec 9 platinium serie would be better? You know...I want as much speed as I can! :D

By the way Domk, look at your post number!

Oli - bearings don't make a difference at all in longboarding.. I RACE on 7$ abec3 shop bearings and do just fine. an abec rating just rates how mayn RPM's that wheel can handle. and abec3 bearing can handle RPMs WAY higher then a skateboard/longboard wheel can produce (until about 115mph, which is impossible anyways) Don't worrry about your bearings at all.

On the other hand, a set of venom sidewinders:

(the 4th was "bearinged" and in the worst condish, and was givin to Mr zak maytum, teh creator)

Damn! You sure used them a lot. So if bearing don't make a difference, my main concern would be my wheel. On my board I have my original wheel(70mm sector 9). Would it be a great idea to go with 75mm 80a Orangatang wheel? Or maybe the Abec 11 flywheel? Also wich size would be best 76,83,90? I hope I don't bother you with all my question.

I mainly ride flat and some very small hill in my city. So I don't need something that can carve a lot at high speed since the small hill I ride are always straight.

Get smaller wheels, faster acceleration so if you ride small hills you will get the most speed out of it. , if I was you I'd keep the 70MM S9 if they are race formulas if not I would get orangatang.

Also remember that harder wheels are faster, a very fast wheel is the green Retro Freeride.

And honestly it's only the trucks that matter if you carve, orangatangs, Sector 9 race formulas and Retro freerides are all very predictable wheels.

But speed is all about the lines you take in corners and how your tuck is.

Edit: I ruined my bad ass postcount :(.
