Snowskate Shoes

Postby jared_s on Mon Oct 08, 2007 7:45 pm

Last year i just used skate shoes, but my feet got all wet. this year i was wondering which shoes work best in snow. I was thinking of buying vans ICO IIIs, but nowwhere that ships to canada has them in my size. I might get the old motleys, the ones with the gaitor, but by now there might be better shoes. How good are DVS snowskate shoes? If they're good i might buy them instead. But i was also considering the DC miner boot, except i don't know if i could actually skate well in it. any help would be appreciated.

i can recomend you the ICO's
i had em last year and they were very good to ride with and kept my feet dry.
there is no website that ships em to norway(as far as ive seen) but one day i went into a random skateshop and they had em.

yeah I'd like to know about the DVS shoes too... I take it they are just waterproof shoes though, not made for actual snowskating. The old Motleys are still like $50 and I can't really afford the Icos, even though they are totally awesome. are there any good, cheap alternatives? I heard DC boots work, but can you trick and stuff easy with them? I would think they would be kinda bulky. and what about like regular rubber snow boots?

the season is coming up here and I'd like to have my stuff ready before it snows so I can hit the park right away.

I LOVE the rovers, they are better than shoes for flips (for me)
