Any way the metal base is an idea or concept that is being put out there for insperation an testing. Do you know how many strange ideas are put into proto type / consept cars. I could not tell you the number but it was a shit load and with out some of them we would not have some of the awsome vehicals that we have today.
This concept is nearher wrong nor right, simply an idea being stated.

haha thats me!...oh and i think that board would be pretty sweet just not the icon nose and tail part...and im a little sceptical on a metal base but it would be interesting to try

I haven't rode the new Ambitions yet so I don't know if they have that legendary thing called CONCAVE! included in them. But my old ambition has absolutely none, making tre flips and many other things a huge pain in my ass. So concave would be a great thing to include as it increases board control and allows you to land better tricks since you can flick, scoop, balance.. etc much better with it. Don't believe me, ride a skateboard for a few minutes.
Where are all the Ottawa snowskaters at?

Wow what a crazy topic lol. I'm not sure but i think im the only one with last years pro model (smage) with AMBITION concave. I find that its really only good/helps with toe dragging not flip tricks. The only way to get them flip tricks is to practice. Next... metel wont work because it wont hold its shape in the cold and will rust makin it slow. How would you fix dents, where plastic you can take a putty knift and fix it alittle bit. The only real thing i would like to see fixed is the peeling/ripping of the foam grip, i already need a new piece after only a few weeks. Also i was wondering if any company has tryed to only put grooves in the flat of the base, not on the tail or nose?

Premier has done that in the past but it's pointless as it makes it impossible to track (lock) in tailpress or nosepress position. Snowskates already slide when doing blunts etc so there's really no use for not having grooves on nose/tail.
