People arent going to give you good songs to use because they want to use them and come on you have to have a couple of good songs

just do some research, and make sure its never been used in a skate video (or snowskate vid). cause that will only make people think of that video. and don't use nickleback as they are one of the 2 worst bands of all time.

use http://www.last.fm,

type in a band name and hit play, itll start playing music similar to that artist/band which is great for finding new music to use that you havent heard of.

If a song has been used in a well known part/local montage dont use it. Who gives a shit about if someone uses a song thats been used in a little montage that most of your friends havent seen. But its true about what you said about people listening to the song and thinking about the video it was originally in. Just try to be original with your choice of music :lol:
