Xtreme questions

Postby Eryic on Fri Feb 06, 2009 3:05 am

Sorry, couldn't really find answers to these anywhere.

If you wear boots (I have the DC Rovers) is Xtreme really necessary?
And can you wear shoes with Xtreme and still have plenty of grip?

I'm kinda looking into an Icon, possibly next year, so.....

I just want to say that I love what both Ambition and Icon are doing right now. Both companies actually caring about their customers and their products. :!: And also growing the sport...

I wouldn't say Xtreme is necessary at all. Some like it, others don't feel they need it.

yeah, nothings necessary, i mean, if youre satisfied with your boots grip already then why bother getting xtreme? but if youre looking for a change then go for it.
if you buy the icon, buy it with the xtreme unattached, so you can add it if you really want it on there.

the other day the snow was really good for packing, unfortunately it kept packing up on the bottom of my shoes, so if i didnt stomp my feet to get it off, id jump on my board and slide right off cause my treads were covered- thats the only situation i can think of where xtreme grip would come in handy for myself.

Yeah but sometimes my foot slips before I flick and I can't set back up fast. I Guess if your shoes grip good then its not a necessity.

I believe pretty much every snowskate site now offers X-treme grip. We will offer it on Ambition this year, discounted on the purchase of a board.

I actually don't have any date decided myself. I would say somewhere around now to the begining of october.
