Mountains Allowing Snowskates

Does anyone know of any resorts that are completely against the use of snowskates? I know most don't mind as long as you have a leash/string/shoe lace (lol) attached to the board.

So far every resort i've talked to in Colorado is cool with them. MOST require a leash and stuff. As long as your not a jerk and have some sort of leash system (duct tape and shoe lace work for officials, but are not very safe..)

I'm working on a safe/reliable leash system for single deck snowskates. Look for that in the future

thats good to hear. like a super magnetic glove you wear that attracts a tiny pin you stick into one of the plys so it flies back to you when you reach out for it? thats awesome.

whatre you thinking though? cause theres those coil leashes that seem nice cause you dont have to have it super long and dangling. im not sure where else you could go with a leash.

Nope, they where complete asses about it. they said "don't bring your toys here, this mountain is for snowboarding and skiing only!" That was when i walked to the front desk and asked with my snowskate in my hand.

I'm thinking a little disc with a small hook on top and a coiled leash. You would attach the disc to your snowskate wherever you want. and then just attach the leash to it and to your shoe/leg/etc. The only thing is i don't think it will work goodon top of the foam grip. You may need to cut out a small hole of grip with a razorblade and stick it on. Still debating whether industrial velcro would be strong enough or not for this task. Still going thru testing. The shape/size of this disk is perfect though, i'll be posting pics and results later in the season hopefully.
