Hey guys, my name is Scott. I'm 16years old from Hamilton, Ontario. Just started snowskating last week and I'm totally hooked. I'm riding my brothers Fortrus for now until I find a board, any suggestions?

Hello everyone.

As you can tell. My name is Justin Majeczky and I ride for ambition. Im 20 years old and I live in Pennsylvania. We dont get a lot of snow so I try and make the best out of it when it is here. Ive been snowskating for 5 years and skateboarding for 9 years. My profile is on the team page if you would like to know more. If you have any questions about boards or camera equipment, i would be more than happy to answer your questions. Just send me a PM

hi there people, first off I'd like to say thanks to Justin for his good initiative, this forum needs more action and that's what the Ambition Brigade should be there for...

so yeah my name is Charles-Olivier Simard (and the D in COSD stands for Dussault, my mother last name) my d.o.b. is 23 december 1985 so I'm about to turn 23, and I think the fact that I was born in the winter is a huge factor in my snowskate background because I got my first tiny white plastic snowskate on my 16th years old birthday, just in time for my first snowskate season... so turns out I really liked "skating" on snow at a point where I rode the same shitty board for 3 years (untill 2004-2005 actually) but I realised I would probably be more confortable with a board that isnt like 6 inch wide, so that' s why I bought a plastic fortus which was pretty much my first real board. Then after I started progressing and poping bigger ollie, sets, and all that stuff, I broke 4 consecutive boards, ran out of money, but it was too late, I was already a plastic addict so I borrowed my friend's danger girl just to give it a try. Of course most of you guys know the rest of the story because that's when I really started progressing and I eventually discovered those forums while seeking approval from my peers, but for those of you who are new to this community, well let's just say the last 4 winters of my life were completely dedicated to snowskating, and by that I mean pretty much 40 hours a week just like a regular job, except that I enjoi every single second of it. So that leads us to now, and to recap let's just say I became more and more solid and now I'm constantly trying to find new ways to reinvent this sport, find new setups, new tricks, and new spots. Now in the everyday life, of course I always have snowskate in the back of my mind because it's my passion, but I also have other dreams such as becoming an influent documentarist and/or filmmaker and I might get a subvention from the government to travel on the west coast and film a documentary on drugs and poverty in Vancouver's DTES. I also plan on studying cinematography in any good given university but I'm not too stressed out and I really think I need to make my own path first.

As for this winter, I really think it will be a crucial one for the sport's progression because the Ambition's team is just fully loaded with talent, style, and shredability, and with the recent filming equipment improvements, I'm pretty damn sure we'll get some off the hook footage this year.

By the way dont be shy to ask questions if you'd like, I think Justin just inspired me to get back to the source and transmit my passion to the youngsters out there.

peace out bros and sisters!!
