step 1: clean the board off, if its scratched then sand the little things to smooth them off
step 2: melt droplets onto the board every few inch or few. then smeer the wax across the board with your iron, not too hot tho! make sure the board is covered including grooves.
step 3: let it chill for a while until cold
step 4: scrap off the wax with a scraper, if you dont have one use a metal ruler or something.
step 5: after you get all the wax can off, get a really fine fine grit sandpaper and rub up the board from tip to tail dont go across it.

i dont know how you can scrape out the grooves but on my 7grroove ambition i just use a dime.
good uck

Dan medvedev wrote:You don't need an iron though; you can just rub on some wax and melt it with a blow dryer. To get wax out of the grooves, just use any plastic circular object that fits the grooves (it’s important for it to be plastic because it can flex while something like metal will scratch the board, just take all the tape of a roll of tape and use the plastic thing the tape was wrapped on).

would guitar pic work?

yes.

blowdryers take too long.

if you dont want to deal with the process and want a good job go to a shop.

I wax my boards often and my favorite scraping tool is a metal putty knife. Its not that expensive and it works really well. It also works for taking off the parts of the base that are sticking out and slowing you down.

I just use some skate wax and rub it on the whole snowskate and in the grooves then just take a towel and buff it.

This works amazingly for me :D
