New York snowskateing?

Postby live2skatehume on Sat Mar 08, 2008 10:14 pm

I live in Eastern Newyork nad cant find a comp anywhere. Me and friends snowskate all the time and absolutely love it. Is snowskateing just not big in New York? Is there anything in the Northeast for us riders? What should I do? :|

i feel your pain, im on the connecticut shoreline and i have to go into the woods to find sweet stuff
its like downhill bmx, less jumps, but lots of drops.
its hard to find a good place in town to hit up, especially with hardly any snow.

but i really dont know anyone around here that snowskates,
thus theres nothing that goes on.

I honestly never thought anyone snowskated in New York at all, but that is awesome. you guys should really keep on snowskating and maybe New York might eventually have a snowskate scene. that would help the sport so much

just wait for the snow to take over a skatepark.
if there was a snowskate park, it probably wouldnt be much different than what you could set up yourself in the woods or something.
