No. NEVER buy JVC shit. Look for something around the range or panasonic, canon, or sony. the most reliable. like if you just want a nice good quality camera for a cheap price get a panasonic gs320. its a 3ccd camera and a good buy.

Got the JVC Everio GZMG 365 today. Yeah it records in .mod, but all you have to do is change the filename to .avi and presto, no conversion needed. I don't need HD, and I'll be able to finally post some decent footage using it. As opposed to my crappy Canon PowerShot SD videos from the past year...
